It must be an article. Short information is fine but it must resemble something of an article or story. Please no quick notices like...
"XYZ Youth Group Meeting on Monday night at 6:30pm."
Articles should basically answer the Five "W's +1" — "Who", "What", "When", "Where" and "How Come?". Imagine that no one knows about your subject matter and tell them the basics up to the details. Remember, there are a lot of new people here! Your must request to have your email or phone number published. We will delete it when we see it unless you otherwise specify.
Your article's opinion is your own responsibility and liability.We do not have the staff to verify details in the articles or editorials we receive. That is why we require your name be placed with the article. If there is a ANY REASONABLE TYPE OF DISPUTE with any article we will remove the article immediately (temporarily or permanently) until the facts are resolved to Chelsea E-Times satisfaction. We do reserve the right the question and even deny publishing any article, ad or editorial that may appear questionable or objectionable to either moral standards, factual details, or the policy directives of Chelsea E-Times. We do not wish to become "moral police". We do only desire to take the "high road" in any questionable matters and leave those "situations" to other means of communications outside our own abilities.
All articles are accepted only via web email or our easy form.Optionally, you may send us your phone number with the best time to call you in the case of any questions or problems with your submission. IF YOU DON'T HAVE INTERNET access you may call us at 678-9354 during normal working hours to make other arrangements.
No article should be reproduced from any other source unless originally having secured written permission from the original publisher for the express intent of using in Chelsea E-Times.
If duplicate articles are submitted then we reserve the right to either publish them both OR just publish the most "news-worthy" version. We don't expect that to happen to much.
It is our intention not to be offensive to the general public. Therefore, we will not engage in co-supporting any of the following items or ideas. No articles shall be accepted that contains or promotes violent, sexual, lewd, demeaning, argumentitive, gambling, bingo, pyshic based or appear morally distasteful. We understand that we are not the only means available for those type of groups to be published. We only require those few find other acceptable and prolific means of advertising. We geniunely thank you for your understanding.
Rewriting Requests. We do reserve the right to ask you to add a detail or two to your article just in case it appears a bit lacking. And don't forget a good title! Thank you!

Power Point files are not acceptable. Email us your name and phone number and best time to call if you have a question. We will try to be of some assistance.
Your article's grammar or wording may or may not be adjustedby Chelsea E-Times. We may change the title, intro, or ending. Why or when would we do this? i.e. — If your information is more or less a form of an advertisement for a business we may change it to become more of a "PSA" or Public Service Announcement. If you article is merely facts being reported with no discussion or reporting content we may edit it to some degree or return it to you for a little re-write. We will not attempt to, otherwise, change the author's intent of communication. We don't expect these type articles to be often but we, nevertheless, need to state this policy. If you want absolutely no changes made you may request "No Changes" but it may delay entry or give cause to have your article denied.We do not want to reject any articles. But they do need to stay within the scope of our policies. They also need to be written as "articles" and not advertisements or ill-mannered works of complain. We do, very strongly, encourage well-written, mannerly forms of disagreement. It is, in our opinion, your "paper". If you have any questions relating to our polcies please email us at the editor. Above all don't be nervous about writing. It's fun to see your words published. Just pretend your writing a letter to your best friend. If you see a mistake after it have been published. NO PROBLEM! Just resubmit your copy and we'll be happy to repost it ASAP. ENJOY!!!
