Deep South Restaurant, located on the hill above and behind the Post Office opened in Chelsea about a month ago. The restaurant relocated from Altadena Square in the Colonnade area to Chelsea because "things seem to be moving in this direction" said worker Chris.
They serve a full service breakfast Monday-Saturday beginning at 6:30 am. Lunch and dinner are served cafeteria style until 9 pm. The menu includes meat and vegetables that change daily. Catering for large groups is also available.
Deep South is also partnering with Zaden's which will serve burgers and fries at a counter just inside the restaurant.
