New Women's Clothing Store in Chelsea
Prissy's is a new store in Chelsea which carries a line of upscale casual clothing for women not found in most stores. The owner, Jane Yirak has owned this shop for almost 8 years with it first being located in Cahaba Heights, then Greystone and now in Chelsea.
Mrs. Yirak said that she moved to Chelsea at the encouragement of a friend who also owns a business here. And she's glad she did. According to her, people here have been wonderful and she has felt so welcome. She said that when she applied for a business license, the mayor even welcomed her, which has never happened to her before.
According to Mrs. Yirak, one has to know the clothes in her store and also get to know the customer, which she tries to do in order to provide the best service. Prissy's carries Misses sizes Small to Extra Large. Purses and hand made necklaces are also a part of the
merchandise.
The store is located next door to Cingular and Chelsea Lane near the Post Office. Hours are Monday - Friday , 10 am - 5:30pm and Saturdays, 10am - 3pm.
Chelsea welcomes Jane Yirak and her new store, Prissy's!
