The Chelsea Park on Highway 39 officially opened to the public March 14, 2003. The park has a walking/biking track, pavilion, children's playground equipment and restrooms. The pavilion can be reserved for parties by calling City Hall at 678-8455. (This reserves the pavilion only, not the entire park).

The park is about 1.7 miles from the red light on Hwy 280 next to McDonald's. From there get on Hwy 47 to Columbiana and turn right at the next red light onto Hwy 39. From that red light you should arrive at the park in about 1.1 miles. The park will be on your right.

C.O.P. volunteers will be driving through the park at various times of the day and the lights stay on until 10:00 p.m.

Phase Two of Chelsea's new park will include a baseball field and tennis courts. Construction for this phase has not yet begun.
