Kiwanis Club of Chelsea

Many people that live in the Chelsea area are not aware of the Chelsea Kiwanis Club and what it does for our area. The Kiwanis Club is an International organization with its primary goal of "helping the children of the world."

The Chelsea club was started in April of 1997, and is the only service club in Chelsea. Our local service projects are the girl's campus of the Kings Ranch, The 'Kiwanbear' program with DHR, and sheriff's office of Shelby County. The Makenna foundation in Kenya. We also help the Columbiana Kiwanis club each year with the Shelby County Fair, work a booth at the Bruno's Golf Tournament, and help at the hot dog booth at the Chelsea Christmas parade. We also have a goal of having a good time, while meeting new people.

Our membership is open to male and female.

The Club meets for breakfast at Lloyd's restaurant on Hwy 280 every first and third Saturday of the month at 7:30 am. Breakfast is available.
