New to our community is Grace Presbyterian Chelsea, Alabama’s newest congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (mission). Pastored by Briggs Macon, Grace Presbyterian began weekly meetings at Chelsea Elementary School in late October, 2001. After six months of meeting on Sunday evenings, Grace is moving its worship time to Sunday mornings at 10:30 beginning April 28.
Over 20 families make up Grace Presbyterian Chelsea, about 70 adults and children of all ages who seek to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. The family atmosphere of fellowship is strengthened by the Presbyterian Church in America’s unwavering commitment to the authority of God’s Word, the Bible. Grace is a church that earnestly desires to share with the entire Chelsea community the life, love and hope that is theirs through a personal relationship with God.
